I haven’t seen this place before.
Surrounded by the concrete walls,
they’re closing more and more.

How did I get inside my mind?
It’s getting darker every day
But no windows I can find.
It’s so comfortable in here

I’m blinded by my common sense
Now I can’t see the sun.
In my head I see the tings
that kept me going on
Now just trails of a lost home,
I think it all has gone.
I lie here every day
With no one to bother me
I sit here all alone
With my thoughts to calm me
My lungs can’t feel the fresh air
My eyes can’t see the daylight
I have no one to share the tings
I was dreaming 'bout last night.
I'm isolated in myself...

I’m the one who keeps you up at night
I’m the one who keeps your consciousness

Some say if you think real hard
you'll get your mind of things.
Some say if you drink real hard,
you'll forget the trouble life brings.
But you won't know what to do
when time runs out.
You won't know what to do
when they say it was your fault.
The tings that you're looking for
indeed are hard to find
but you can't even start the search
‘till you change your broken mind.
You can’t always stay hidden home
and await the loonies in your room
You can’t always pull the curtains
Afraid that outside reigns doom.
Nevermind your thoughts and fears,
Just go outside and play
Go and talk to the merry people
and don’t think much what to say.
